​​​Report: ​Employment Situation, Third Quarter 2015

This quarterly report releases preliminary figures on unemployment, employment and redundancy.

Key findings: Overall unemployment remained unchanged in the third quarter of 2015. However, it rose slightly among residents and citizens for the second consecutive quarter, amid softer economic conditions. This occurred on the back of a downtrend from June 2014, before which rates were broadly comparable to those recently observed. Employment grew faster than in the preceding quarter but the increase was lower than the same period last year. Layoffs fell for the third consecutive quarter.
