​​Report: ​Labour Market Second Quarter 2016

This quarterly release analyses the labour market situation. Topics covered include unemployment, employment, redundancy, re-entry into employment, job vacancy, labour turnover and hours worked.

Key findings: Unemployment rose and vacancies trended lower. Job seekers outnumbered job openings for the first time since June 2012. Total employment growth slowed from the previous quarter and a year ago. Layoffs rose, while the rate of re-entry into employment continued to decline.
