Report: Singapore Workforce, 2015

This report analyses the key trends and profile of Singapore’s resident labour force based on data from the Comprehensive Labour Force Survey conducted in the middle of 2015. A full report of the survey findings will be published in report on Labour Force in Singapore, 2015 on 28 January 2016.

Key findings: Employment rate rose further from June 2014 to June 2015, helped by the strong employment gains in the second half of 2014. Median income grew strongly over the year amid tight labour market, and there was a sustained increase in income at the median and 20th percentile over the last five years. Unemployment stayed low in June 2015, though it rose over the year for older residents aged 50 & over and non-degree holders as employment growth slowed in the first half of 2015.

For more key findings, please refer to the highlights of the report.
