Report: ​Youths In The Labour Market

As in other countries, Singapore youths experienced a higher unemployment rate than the general labour force, but the ratio of youth to total unemployment rate was lower than in many other countries. Also youths here did not experience long unemployment spells, unlike in many other countries.

This study on employment and unemployment of youths in Singapore was contributed by the Ministry of Manpower for the report ‘Youth.sg’: The State of Youth in Singapore 2010’ by the National Youth Council.
