Monthly Unemployment Situation – August 2020

While unemployment rates continued to rise over the month in August 2020 (overall: 3.4%;
resident: 4.5%;
citizen: 4.6%), the resident and citizen unemployment rates remained below
previous downturns.

105,700 residents1 were unemployed in August 2020, including 91,100 citizens.2,3
