End Monthly Unemployment Situation – January 2025

Unemployment rates showed an uptick in January 2025, after staying stable in December 2024. However, the rates remained within the range typically seen during non-recessionary periods. There were 69,800 unemployed residents¹, of which 61,500 were citizens in January 2025.^2,3
