Infographic: Wage Practices In Singapore, 2014

The tight labour market continued to raise workers’ wages in 2014, although the growth rate was lower than 2013 amid moderate economic growth. Wages for low-wage employees trended up as employers continued to respond to NWC recommendations to give wage increases to the employees earning up to $1,000. A vast majority of employees in the private sector were under some form of flexible wage system.
