Key findings: Key findings: Despite economic headwinds, the number of retrenchments in 2019 remained low, and at a similar level as 2018. Business restructuring and re-organisation remained the top reason cited by establishments for retrenchment. In 2019, the rate of re-entry into employment inched up, and remained within range of recent years.
