Report: ​The Impact Of Structured Training On Workers' Employability And Productivity

Well-educated individuals and workers with higher earnings are much more likely to participate in training than others, even after controlling for industry and occupation. While the better educated are more likely to participate in training, overall results suggest that relatively low paid workers are the ones that benefit most from training.

This occasional paper examines the factors driving participation of workers in structured training programmes in the Singapore labour market, and the impact of such programmes.
