Employment claims have trended up since 2021, consistent with the observed rise in involuntary separations. This parallel movement suggests a strong interconnection between labour market conditions and employment disputes. Using a natural log-linear regression model, the analysis revealed strong positive correlations between employment claims and involuntary separations such as dismissal, business cessation and retrenchment.
