Report: Labour Market, Third Quarter 2013

Unemployment declined in September 2013, amid the tight labour market. With more job openings and fewer job seekers, the ratio of job vacancies to unemployed persons rose. Employment growth remained high in the third quarter of 2013, though it eased slightly from the previous quarter.

This quarterly release analyses the labour market situation. Topics covered include unemployment, employment, redundancy, re-entry into employment, job vacancy, labour turnover and hours worked.

A newer release, Labour Market Report, 3Q 2020, is now available.
