This quarterly release analyses the labour market situation. Topics covered include unemployment, employment, redundancy, re-entry into employment, job vacancy, labour turnover and hours worked. Key findings: Unemployment rose among residents and citizens for the second consecutive quarter amid softer economic conditions. Employment continued to grow in the third quarter of 2015 but the increase remained significantly lower than a year ago. Layoffs rose over the quarter for all three broad sectors. Even though job vacancies still outnumbered job seekers, the ratio has moderated. Labour turnover has declined, amid muted hiring across all broad sectors.
