Monthly Unemployment Situation – February 2021

The unemployment situation continued to improve in February 2021, with declines seen for the overall (from 3.2% in January 2021 to 3.0% in February), residents (from 4.3% to 4.1%) and citizens (from 4.5% to 4.3%). Unemployment rates had fallen steadily since peaking in September 2020.
 
96,800 residents1 were unemployed in February 2021, including 85,900 citizens.2, 3
