Monthly Unemployment Situation – October 2020

Unemployment rates remained elevated in October 2020 (overall: 3.6%; resident: 4.8%;
citizen: 4.9%). Compared to September, the rates were unchanged at the overall and citizens,
but rose slightly for residents (from 4.7% to 4.8%).

115,400 residents1 were unemployed in October 2020, including 99,700 citizens.2,3
