This occasional paper analyses the performance of Singapore citizens in the labour force and the changes over time. Data are mainly from the Comprehensive Labour Force Survey.
Key Findings: Employment outcomes of Singapore citizens have been positive over the decade, and trends track closely that of resident data. Employment rate of Singapore citizens has risen. The share of PMETs among employed citizens increased steadily. Income growth among Singapore citizens was also faster in the recent five years compared with the earlier five years.
