Quarterly re-entry rate measures the proportion of residents who are in employment in the reference quarter, six months after retrenchment. For example, the re-entry rate for the first quarter of 2024 shows the proportion of residents retrenched in the third quarter of 2023 who had re-entered employment six months after retrenchment. Annual re-entry rate measures the proportion of residents who are in employment in the reference year, six months after retrenchment. For example, the 2023 re-entry rate pertains to residents retrenched from 3Q 2022 to 2Q 2023, who had re-entered employment by 2023 (six months after retrenchment).
