The latest data on unemployment rate and number are available here.
Data on characteristics of the unemployed, including age, educational attainment and sex are updated in the quarterly Labour Market Report, also accessible via the previous link.
Unemployment data by marital status, duration of unemployment, work experience, previous occupation, previous industry and the main reason for leaving previous job, are available annually in the report on Labour Force in Singapore.
Related Concepts
Seasonal patterns exist in unemployment, making it difficult for us to tell if the change in unemployment is a true reflection of economic conditions. Like most national statistical agencies, we seasonally adjust unemployment data to correct for this.

Annual Average: Uses seasonally adjusted data where available, to ensure figures more accurately reflect the unemployment situation. Topline annual figures are the simple averages of unemployment figures obtained at more frequent intervals in the year. Annual figures by demographics are simple averages of unemployment figures obtained at quarterly intervals. |
